It would be great if we could also edit video by modifying the transcript, just like we are able to edit audio right now.
We can edit out words or sentences from the transcript that we don't want, and this should automatically remove these parts from our video. The transitions between video clips need to be seamless, so it won't be too noticeable that sections were edited out from the video. As we're working on this, we should also be able to preview how the edits to the transcript will look & sound on the actual video. In order to preview these edits, the video should be visible as we're working on the transcript. Maybe the video can be shown on a side panel that's next to the transcript we're working on.
This feature would be especially helpful to people who want to make YouTube videos. Anyone who makes videos and shares them online usually spends a lot of time finding parts that need to be removed, selecting them, and deleting them. I personally want to create YouTube videos, but I just don't have the time or patience to do that type of editing. I wish I could just select a sentence from the video, and instantly cut it out by deleting it from the transcript. I can use this to delete awkward silences, unnecessary words like "ah" and "um", bloopers, and anything that I decide I don't want there. These are edits I would have to do constantly, probably every couple of seconds. I don't need to do any fancy video editing within Trebble, but it would still help a lot if I could just cut out parts from the video simply by editing the transcript.
